Condition One Reveals Trailer for VR Movie Zero Point

VRFocus - Condition One, a start up developer dedicated to make virtual reality (VR) films for the Oculus Rift VR headset, has revealed the first trailer for Zero Point, an upcoming Oculus-compatible piece. Zero Point is a 3D film supporting 360-degrees of footage, allowing audiences to look all around at their surroundings while it plays out.

I think you mean this is amazing. It's happening right now, and this is only the beginning. Imagine movie studios releasing blu-rays that have a special feature that let's you be an extra in your favorite movie scene. For example, imagine being a pedestrian watching two transformers battle all around you. I'm not the biggest transformers fan, but if you really want to get a true sense of just how big these sentient machines are suppose to be there's no better way than a VR headset.

What scene in what movie would you want to relive in VR?

That's nearly like 5D. Wow!

Porn in live-action/CGI/anime is going to hit the roof with this tech..

..mechanical architecture/engineering is also going to benefit.

My multiple Waifus are very happy to hear this.

That's fine. GT7 would overshadow it anyway at it has open wheel and regular cars.

Should have been spending their time updating Squadrons with better resolution, frame rate, haptics, etc as there isn't a game like that on PS VR 2 yet.

But it's EA. They don't think.

Babadook7385d ago

I agree. It would sell better on PSVR2 right now.

Knushwood Butt386d ago (Edited 386d ago )

A wasted opportunity, but I don't buy EA / Codemasters stuff anyway. Grid Legends just came out on Plus and I haven't touched it. Why would I when I have GT7 and PSVR2?

Abnor_Mal386d ago

Not into F1 racing, but still a missed opportunity.

ApocalypseShadow386d ago

That's where opportunity presents itself that they could offer something else that other developers haven't offered yet. Yeah. There's No Man's Sky. But a space game with a story would be great. Like the old days with Colony Wars.

Abnor_Mal386d ago

Exactly, they could have possibly lured more players just from the inclusion of a vr mode.

I miss Colony wars and G-Police, Low-Fi I hope will scratch that itch when it releases. We also need a vr War/Starhawk game.

Knushwood Butt385d ago

Just watched the trailer of Low-Fi. Most definitely on my radar.

Although I never owned an oculus, I played the demo for this at an electronics store. Pretty impressive in an early goings of VR title.
