I honestly dont see what is so great about this "remake". it looks like the Genesis version, maybe with some slight remastering but it certainly doesnt qualify as a remake.

Because you don't like SoR or you have never played it for real, the differences are huge in gameplay, fun, number of levels, mulltiple paths, music, its a dream for every true side scroll fighting fan.

I don't really like it and I've played SOR 1 and 2 to death on the Megadrive. Not sure if the problem is with the artstyle... if you pause it, it looks great. I think it's the incompatible combination of the modern art style and old school frame rate.. like the 2-frame animation many bad guys have.

Just because it's 2019, it doesn't mean we can't have the same art style. We aren't saying we want it to look exactly like it was in the 90's (although, that wouldn't really bother me) but you can have the same gritty style that we had back then with a more modern touch.

It's a minor complaint from me though, I'll take this, it still looks good.

Looks good not keen on the art style to be honest, there's a game coming out called Blazing Chrome. The pixel art looks stunning, I wish streets of rage 4 would of took this approach. But nonetheless have high hopes for this.

This style of gameplay is outdated. Devil May Cry and action-hack and slash games are the evolution of these old 2D brawlers. Sega should try a hack and slash Sonic game like DMC/Bayonetta.

As someone who've worked on sprites and 2D animation, I like this a lot.. It takes a lot of work to draw up the characters with the animations. It doesn't look choppy either, its very fluent..

Also would like to see more characters, looks like another female character on the left in the cover art background.. A guy with a robot arm on the right, Alex maybe?
