It's like "I'm having fun, I'm making money, I'm surviving"

But also

"I'm dying...I hate this place...go to aisle 7 and bash my face in with the Iron that's on special"

GameStallion1888d ago

HAHAHA! This comment wins.

salmonade1888d ago

HAHAHA or having fun licking thousands of envelopes.

v3nny1889d ago

Great, you're retarded.
Congratulations.

Ricegum1888d ago

The fact you got so many agrees for such a comment is so sad.

I am very disappointed with the game but if someone enjoys it how on earth are they retarded? Let people enjoy things.

KillZallthebeast1888d ago

I had fun for a few days with friends until bethesda kept patching it and somehow making it worse and worse

PapaBop1888d ago

I'd sue you on the grounds that people like you are destroying gaming defending this BS.

Dragonscale1888d ago

Being able to reroll legendary gear is definitely going to cut down on grinding for the right loot

GameStallion1888d ago (Edited 1888d ago )

Uggh, “reroll.” Anytime I hear a game has that mechanic I know the game is either taking advantage of its player base or is a giant time-suck. Last time I did that was the Division 1. I should have just started playing something else when it seemed fun to in-game gamble with digital gear I grinded for for hours because the gear sucked in the fist place.

BlackIceJoe1889d ago

It sold on the name alone, but also did huge damage to the Fallout name and will hurt future Fallout games, because of how bad 76 was.

r3f1cul1888d ago

it didnt just hurt fallout for me ... it crippled me ever purchasing another title from bethesda as a whole :/ sue me but i hated skyrim it just further dumbed down oblivion which was already dumbed down from morrowwind ... fallout 4 had pretty fun gameplay but the story was embarrassing and the lack of choice laughable, 76 was just another straw to break my back and they've done nothing but scum up 76's in game store since launch so i just cant be bothered with this company anymore... they've already said they are sticking to this engine and even tho its a mobile title after the scum of elder scrolls blades im sure this company is dedicated to going the wrong route with games and monetization so they can just F off for all im concerned. 76 sold because of the fallout name, when starfield or w/e its called has to stand on its own and has all the same failings beth games have had for over a decade then maybe people will finally realize how bad this company actually is

ccgr1889d ago

Holding out for a good sale before trying this one

Fritzwochel1888d ago

It's so bad you can get it for free in several stores.

PapaBop1888d ago

I doubt it'll be on sale at a price worth getting. Remember this is a game that was so bad and broken GiantBomb cancelled their review.

-Foxtrot1889d ago

Is this guy for real? So instead of apologising, learning from your mistakes that maybe, JUST MAYBE Bethesda should stick to pure single player games and admit how much of a lying b******* he is when promoting this game, especially at E3 he bigs the game up and flashes around sales where many of them would come from the Fallout name alone.

Oh Todd...I'm so looking forward to seeing you on stage at E3, most likely gonna fill the room up with your studios developers and positive game journalists that don't want to be blacklisted am I right?

Gamehard1888d ago

Until they actually get a game engine that isn't 2 generations behind, this type of "quality" will be their standard. Hell even when they do upgrade, their games will still be behind the other developers who have been doing open world and current gen mechanics and physics forgot years already. Bethesda simply didn't evolve with the times and it's getting more and more obvious.

r3f1cul1888d ago

agreed, ive been on the outs with beth since skyrim (yea i never liked it sue me its over rated) but this whole we're making giant open worlds thing so give us a pass because bugs and shit animations just doesnt fly anymore ... plenty of franchise have ENORMOUS and highly detailed open worlds with graphics and animations that dont seem like they belong in a third rate puppet show from a homeless person :/

Born2Game831888d ago

I agree Fallout 76 is a bad game. But Bethesda made the Fallout series so popular. Coming from the developers of Morrowind and Oblivion. Is what got people excited, when they purchased the IP.

Days Gone Director Says Bend's Project Costs Over $250M; Says PS Co-CEO Doesn't Want 2 Zombies Games

Days Gone director claims Sony has already poured in at least a $250M in Bend's project; says Days Gone sold more than Death Stranding.

shinoff218317h ago

Well that sucks. Seems they want more online trash. I'd rather of had the sequel if it was single player

MrNinosan2h ago

What online trash games did PS Studios release last 10 years?

Notellin36m ago

The past has nothing to do with the future. This is such a terrible argument. Everyone knows about their current live service push.

-Foxtrot16h ago

It would be a shame if it was true that Hermen never gave the franchise a chance simply because he didn't like it and they already had a "Zombie" game with TLOU.

NaughtyDog are most likely moving onto a new IP next so it would have been the perfect time to do it.

ThinkThink8h ago

Here's where xbox steps in and releases state of decay 3 day and date on ps5.

Grilla2h ago

Days gone 2 was canceled before Herman was in charge. That happened like 4 years ago.

vfl5231h ago

4 years ago he was head of Playstation Studios. He would've probably had a hand in the cancelation.

Notellin34m ago

Man two seconds of research could have saved you from this comment. Amazing work Grilla you fit in with the uniformed N4G community who speaks before verifying anything that they say.

excaliburps3h ago

Yep. Kind of weird since it wasn't a sales flop, no?

I know we have to take what Ross says with a grain of salt since we're hearing just one side of the story, but even so, the game wasn't bad at all. Heck, it's my brother's favorite last-gen game from what I recall.

The amount of zombies on screen, imagine that with the PS5 and SSD? That would be insanely fun!

Grilla2h ago

Most copies were sold on sale. Not enough ppl bought it at full price. I paid 20$ for it 6 -7 months after release.

Notellin33m ago(Edited 31m ago)

Yeah we should never believe the creators side until we hear the corporate/big business side as history has shown we should always believe billion dollar corporations.

What a bootlicker statement.

P_Bomb2h ago

Well I don’t want 10 live service games, but they have no problem doing that lol. Ugh.

CrimsonWing692h ago(Edited 2h ago)

Oh great so we only get what the big wigs want… y’know, the people that really have their fingers on the pulse of what their consumers want. Faaaaantastic!
