Why do you think they bought 6 development studios and are building one from the ground up. No reason to be negative, unless of course, you are just yet another negative and cynical user on this site.

So your comment doesn't really make a whole lot of since, because the studio acquisitions have already taken place
that will address the lack of exclusives.

I hate microsoft but I agree with him, we need competitor to make sure everyone -plays fair rules otherwise corporation cant wait to win and then rip gamers off. Thats nothing new. We gamers need to stick together, regardless of my hatred against microsoft

Buying studios is just one step. The ethos at Microsoft has been making games as a vehicle for some other initiative. Case in point: forcing crackdown 3 as a means to highlight gamepass. For subscribers it’s an option...equivalent to Netflix streaming shovelware. It’s an option for sure but not a very good one. I do feel bad for those that actually forked out 60 for it.

Basically, I’m glad Microsoft is trying to improve their first party but I have a STRONG HESITATION about most of their first party content. Most of those studios don’t have a strong recent track record. I’ll watch and wait to see what they put out.

While I agree that it's generally better to be positive, I think that cautious optimism is what we should practice in regards to Microsoft.

The studio acquisitions don't necessarily mean a bunch of solid new IPs; Microsoft could do anything with those new studios. Let's not needlessly dump on Microsoft, but nobody should be popping any champagne either.

Funny that they still charge to play free to play games on xbox one. If you dont have live gold than youre SOL if you want to lay fortnite on xbox. you dont need plus or nintendo's online to enjoy this free game. Yet xboxone fans will worry more about sony not having cross play than to call MS out on this shady BS.

Base latency is 130.8ms and frame gen takes that up to 139.1ms. A 7% increase in latency is hardly a deal breaker.

Impressive results... sadly I don't have a 120hz display. I was thinking this technique could increase fps on any game that supports it regardless of the display.

On another point, what if it were the other way around where the developer aims for higher fps, then used something like pssr to make the resolution higher, that might be better?

Any which way, PS5 pro sure looks interesting now, being they have already doubled frame rate, with JUST just this fsr3.0

I’m pretty sure leaks or not, by the end of the show people will still be disappointed. The only highlight for me was MH: Wilds… everything else was mid to forgettable. Hope them HaaS games you got lined up really work out for you, Sony. Everyone asking for Bloodborne Remake, Wolverine, and, uh, well other games like that could’ve made this epic. Instead we get Concord, some derivative Souls-like games, that were fine looking, and a Silent Hill 2 Remake with horrible character designs and janky combat animations… great.

For a State of play it was actually alright. People are overshadowing it because they want to cancel Sony to high hell for Gaas which is not fair for the other devs who revealed great looking games that were just shown. I get it you don’t like gaas don’t buy it. If it sells well good for the people who had interest no big deal? If you are a PlayStation fan what’s wrong with PlayStation trying to cater every gamer? I don’t understand that smh

Where Winds Meet and Ballad of Antara both looked good. Not to mention Astro Bot. It was a decent show. For me personally it was a 7. I'm sure to some people it was actually really good cause they'd play all those games. 🤷🏽 Personal taste

If Bloodborne was remestered or remade, it would still sell less than Final Fantasy XVI or VII Rebirth, probably be called a great succes from it's core fans, but most wouldn't care.

I love Bloodborne, I want a new release of it, but it's niche and has sold crap compared to most of Playstation Studios bigger titles.

Astro Bot will sell and mean more to Playstation than a Bloodborne Remake.

It's funny because certain gamers think the whole show is ONLY about THEM. As if there aren't other gamers who like RPGs or live service games or horror or VR games.

that's been my take. The all about me gamers. There are tons of games I don't give two shits about, but instead of whining about it I play the games I do enjoy. So the sooner all these internet clowns realize PS, XB, and Nintendo aren't making each and every game for them, the better we will be for it.

Not every game or showcase is going to be bangers any one individual is excited for. This incessant complaining from the gaming community has become so absurd it would be laughable if it wasn't so sophmoric and asinine. Mob mentality and these idiots keep playing along.

Shadow incan usually agree with you. But this time naw. It was weak. Sony should be in better order over the state of them. I also didn't see any rpg. Maybe I'm mistaken. I'm still glad they didn't pull an xbox and show games 5 years away for sure but their lineup is pretty weak. Also fk Sony about the reports of days gone 2, unless it was gonna be more multiplayer trash. I get not every game is for me, trust me I get it. I'm not into gran tourismo, God of War, spiderman, even wolverine(I'm so over super heroes), but I know they still release the best games. I'm getting annoyed more and more with the lack of a real rpg, not a rpg lite game. Xbox bought up so many wrpg studios(even though I feel they are wasting their talent making first person games), and Sony just does nothing rpg wise. Like wtf Sony.

My post history will tell you which console I prefer but Sony isn't free from criticism. I still think their doing way better then Xbox.

Who cares about the leak, it didn't hurt anything. Everytime there is a leak with games, companies go nuts and get pissed, man what dumb asses. Like for example GTV 6, the leak made people even more hyped for it. The only time I can understand is if your actual game got leaked way ahead of relase on a torrent site, that is something you can't stop once it's out to download.
