Gran Turismo 7 is a solid racing game made better in VR.
It's is one of the most potent racing sims ever to grace VR and Polyphony Digital’s passion for motorsport is in every moment. GT7 is a love letter that celebrates cars old and new, offering a significant range of playable vehicles and racing tracks that take full advantage of the new hardware.
Gran Turismo 7 with PSVR 2 is a must for racing fans.
New details on dark fantasy adventure’s mountainous monsters, gritty combat and more.
The PlayStation VR 2 deal is one of many great PlayStation discounts available until June 12. That said, if you're interested in PSVR 2 but still need to upgrade your console, the are also deals on the PS5 Slim and PS5 Slim digital edition during the PlayStation Days of Play sale.
Sorry but PSVR2 is dead and double dead at any sale price. It was dead before it launched as the "premium" VR scene lost all the AAA developers and now it is all indie mobile phone crap quality software.
State of Play is back! Tune in live for updates on PS5 and PS VR2 titles, plus a look at PlayStation Studios games arriving later this year.
Im getting a bit of GotG vibes from Concord.
Ragnarok coming September 2024... that's just shy of 2 years since the PS5 release in November 2022.
Most games appeared good.
Where Winds Meet and Monster Hunter seemed like those needed a bit more polish but that's ok as those aren't releasing anytime soon but I am still kinda worried regarding SH2Remake. Still looks rough and from rear view, James Sunderland looks nearly identical to Leon Kennedy's model from RE4Remake. Hope I am wrong though.
Other games were decent. Even Marvel Rivals.
Ballad of Antara was the highlight for me, followed by Infinity Nikki(purely on the art style alone).
And glad that, Path of Exile 2 is coming to PS5 and Ragnarok is coming to PC!
Behemoth for VR2 also looked really interesting.
The new standard to beat
Oooff that good in case anyone wondering.
What a step forward. Remember back when the PSVR1 came out, and it included a fair volume of demos out of the box. One was Drive Club VR and it was a nausea inducing machine. Now we have a day one racing experience again with the PSVR2, and it's felt it defines what it means to have a VR racing game. So much learning has clearly happened.
I'm glad GT7 is getting good things said about it and it kind of sounds like PD have shaken off the bad press GT7 got. Not a massive vr fan myself but I do think racing games are the stand put games on them and sounds like gt7 will be for psvr
I am not a sim racing fan but when GT7 VR was announced I bought it in the January sale.
Driving a convertible, on Tokyo Expressway with rain on is just amazing. Now I'm grinding to get golds in everything I can and unlock as many cars and tracks to gawk over as possible.
