Chinese developer Kuro Game is preparing to launch the second closed beta of Wuthering Waves, an action RPG that many have identified as a serious Genshin Impact competitor.

I was waiting for it to show up on steam, I didn't realise it was an Epic Games exclusive.
It's going to release on PS5 later this year along with Mihoyo's upcoming ZZZ, Arknights Endfield, Project Mugen and Azur Pomilia, probably some others to go with Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail and Tower of Fantasy.

I played Genshin for a few months, this looks much more up my alley than Genshin for sure.
People have to stop labelling these games as Genshin competitors. I remember everyone doing the same with Tower of Fantasy which turned out to be trash and nowhere near on par with Genshin. I play the developer's other game Punishing Gray Raven and while it has it's limitations, the combat is top notch. Kuro Games deserves better with this, Wuthering Waves will be a great game, let it shine on it's own merits without the Genshin comparison.
