Since Sony announced that players will need to have a PSN account to play Helldivers 2, reviews have tanked. The community manager has already responded to this.

In the OG Helldivers, I sometimes felt like I’m shooting at Apple products.
Players are singing praises to a certain Automaton from Helldivers 2. Fans are excited over a possible return of an old enemy.
The unprofessional attitude of these people is enough to be against them at this point
It's not really review bombing, is it, though? Sony has now delisted Helldivers 2 from being purchased on Steam in 177 countries. It also seems that at least some people in those countries who have already purchased the game can no longer play it.
The PSN account is not needed until June.
i think delisting the game was ... a drastic and dumb move.
They could have released this game a year later with all the same requirements and the PC crowd would have bought it anyway. Yeah, this is how bad they messed this up.
