David Bierton writes:
"Techland took a risk in uprooting the Call of Juarez series and relocating it to modern day Los Angeles and it's a gamble that hasn't completely paid off: a key component of what made the series separate and distinct from its competitors has now been lost and the new setting doesn't seem to represent that much of an upgrade. Technologically, there have been some obvious improvements with the engine but this doesn't necessarily translate into a better looking game. It appears that the art design, more than anything else is the issue here."
Want more Red Dead Redemption 2? There are plenty of other games that are worth checking out if you’re looking to scratch that frontier itch.
Call of Juarez: Gunsinger and The Cartel recently vanished from digital storefronts, but the game's aren't gone for good. The developer Techland is now in charge of publishing.
I wish they'd re-release/remaster Gunslinger as a physical copy on PS4. I'm really not keen on digital only.
This game is pure garbage.
Digital foundry should do an article on how Crytek never fixed the grain/lines across the screen bug. They are dedicated to analyzing graphics, why don't they become real journalists and give the people getting screwed over a voice. Maybe they''ll use their power to engender the good and just.
Nah
Corps own all, even peoples integrity.
Evil prevails always it seems.
